I thought you'd like that '39 not to mention Ken's fabulous 1/2 ton .

I have a friend that has a 1950 3/4 ton . He's twenty five years younger then me .

I've been helping him by prepping parts by blasting & painting by me .

He pays me for materials used .

I get his muscle to disassemble & re-assembly the heavy grunt parts on my truck .

He likes my style of restoration so we work together well .

I'm retired now so his help is really working for me..

We've both been working on the front end suspention , rear suspention & rear axle & drive line .

Here's some examples of parts from his truck that I blasted , primed & painted .

These are just some of the things I've been up to lately .

Not bad in my opinion for a truck that will be 70 years old next year .

I've been using Black Diamond fine grit blasting media . Leaves a fine finish .

Also been using fine glass beads .


Epoxy Primer & Top Coat Urethane

I've been waiting 5 to 7 days after primer to apply the urethane top coat .

I let the top coat sit for a week before handling for assembly .
