'48 2 ton chassis Chevy, 235 engine...six weeks ago, drove it home after major brake overhaul. Parked till yesterday, started up, engine fine, but now won't go into gear. As I shifted, the gears were grinding. Began to hear some rumbling down there after a minute or two. Any ideas for testing problem?
