I have a Holly Avenger carburator on a modified 383 chevy engine with a 700R tranny. This on my Nova, not my truck, but was hopeing someone will help anyway. The problem is when I get on it going about 30 or 40 miles per hour the engine will bog down and backfire through the carb. If I get on it gradually there is no problem and there is no problem from a dead stop. The carb is almost brand new, but I did screw around with the fuel levels and the idle adjustment. This is for a 4 barrel. Any ideas? Cecil..........
