I have read a number of times that the Edelbrock does not like more than 5psi on the fuel. My friend had several problems with his, including hot restart problems. After much proding, we finally put a gauge on it. 9psi. He couldn't bear to part with his Holly hipo mechanical fuel pump so we put an adj. pressure regulator on it. He called the other day to say the press reg is leaking.
He wants to toss the Edelbrock, I say toss the pump.
