thanks for the responses, I am almost certain it is a 1955 235 motor. Like I said it came complete minus the oil pan and covers, it did include a new oil pump but no pump to block tube nor the oil screen, pipe and valve (the one that mantains 35 psi) as you can see my frustrations, the tranny and every thing else bolts up and this truck has the solid drive shaft.
