Thanks y'all. I'm sure we'll be sticking as close to original as possible with Stitch, except the color. My daughter is leaning toward a turquoise tone. I already had a bit of fun locating the proper VIN tag for it. A previous owner swapped the tag with a 65 long bed (according to the VIN) because that one had a title and he was gonna restore this one. Through a couple weeks of called a messages I got the original VIN back on it. We'll need a new driveshaft (56" x 3.50" if my measurements and research is right), bed kit and back bumper. I can fix the wiring pretty easily. And there's a piece which kind of looks like a lower radiator support that bolts down to the forward most body mount. We'll have to replace that as soon as I can figure out what it is and where to get it. After she learns to drive it, we have a few other donor pieces we can put on and then send it off to paint. I honestly believe this will be a fun project for us, and am amazed at how enthused she is about it and its manual trans. Plus I'm glad I came across group.
