I found it! Right frame rail in front of the front tire. The sun was shining on it from the left at just the right angle and a quick scrub with the brush and it popped right out. Much larger stamping than I anticipated.
T 145 XXX. I don't want to post the whole number, but can somebody tell me what the T 145 signifies?
