This GMC sits on a shortened and narrowed 1974 Cadillac Sedan DeVille chassis and belongs to a very large (63 crews) plumbing company owner, now retired. He carried blueprints for the various jobs in the box so it must not have leaked much. The cover has four bows so blueprints could be spread out on it to read. The snaps on the left side and tail gate were used daily so they were easy to work but the ones on the right side were a bear to unsnap. These pictures were taken when the truck had probably close to 250k miles on it. The wheels are 5 on 5 Lincoln---same bolt pattern as a Cadillac. He wore out the original 472 engine, had it overhauled, wore out again and now has a fresh 500 engine in it.
