On the 59 - I was wondering if I should smooth out all the body seams. Specifically I'm thinking in the step area, door frame, top half of the cab, etc.

Has anyone experienced 'settling' so to speak between these body panels - where the cab will slowly minutely over time reposition itself based on vibration, bumps etc.

If I was to do this - what would be the best way?

Weld, grind, smooth, paint? Only problem I see here is all the darn welding and possible warping of parts.

Could just fill the suckers with a 'flexible body filler' - I'm thinking Evercoat's Fibertech followed by oversanding and then glazing.Problem here is that I never trust a product that say's it 'flexes' - seems like it may eventually crack (see question above on cab settling).

Lead? Don't know how to do it, but might be kinda fun to learn. Drawbacks?
