So I have the cylinders rebuilt and remounted as well as the relined brake shoes. After I cleaned the springs I noticed they where on the deformed side. They are still strong SOB's but they are bent to the point that I would like to replace them if able. Now onto the fun part, anyone know where the devil I can find new ones, all of my internet searches and phone calls have come up with goose eggs. On another note when I removed the drum on the driver side I had to drill out the stud the brake shoes rested on to get the drum off. I have also been unable to find a replacement for them as well, are they replaceable or do I need to channel my inner jury rigging self? (Thinking about getting a 8 grade bolt and mounting it in that spot if I cant find a replacement stud).
