I just bought a 68ish gmc 7500 with a 6v53 to drop my 60 gmc 5000 cab onto. Haven’t got too deep into the 68 yet but it has a Clark 5 speed and a healthy Detroit. Previous owner bought the truck just for the 2 speed axle, I have an air shift 2 speed out of a freight shaker to replace it. Aside from the absurd issues I will have with the speedometer, do any of you have any insight on this project?
