For low rpm stuff, just use the stock or a mild RV cam and cast manifolds or really long headers (2 feet or longer). Most of the headers that you can buy, especially the block huggers, are way too short and hurt low rpm performance. A HEI or MSD ignition is a good investment too, it will really help your low end.
