I got a little discouraged with my last truck adventure. Bought it from someone who didn't have the title. Got it all cleared through the DMV, had the pink slip in hand. Bought $4,000.00 in after market parts, was doing some body work on it, everything was going good. Then one day the CHP showed up at my house, he said there is a fella down the street with a trailer who claims your 1950 Chevy truck is his. The person who sold me the truck got it in a divorce settlement. No title. He had the original title which was not signed off. So, bye bye truck. I did get my money back, but a very hard lesson learned.
But I couldn't shake the old truck bug, so 9 yrs later here I am, and just bought a stock unmolested 58 Apache step side short bed.
It sure was nice to get back on this site and see what all you awesome people are up to!
