Speaking of "manly men"; I'll never, ever forget Wild Willie Borsch in the "Winged Express" AA/FA. That guy was absolutely fearless. The car was so ill handling that fellow racers sometimes refused to race with him. There are many famous photos of him. My two favorites are the wild sideways one handed burnouts and a wheel stand going through the lights at 200+ MPH. Those were the days.
