I'm glad to see that at least a few people aren't panicky about winding a stovebolt engine up above a fast idle. Chances are you just need a hot valve adjustment to quiet things down a little. If the oil pressure is good ad cruise speed, you're not likely to be having bearing problems. Enjoy the ride!
