| | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 7,440 Bolter | | Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 7,440 | Everyone has their own way of adjusting wheel bearings. Here is what I was taught 60+ years ago. Jack the wheel off the ground and turn the nut until the wheel will not move. Then back the nut off until just a slight resistance is felt. The wheel should spin fairly easily. Then follow Hookalatch’s brake adjustments.
