Not having much luck trying to get a longer input oil line. The only thing local folks are offering is 3 000 psi hydraulic lines with massive fitting. I suppose I could try and fabricate a line out of copper tubing. Maybe I have the wrong year filter cannister. The input oil line is on the radiator side of the cannister. Makes more sense to be on the cab side. If it was on the cab side the 18" line i got from JC would probably work.
