i think the front needs the same big round spacer as the back lower shackle takes
i fixed my springs just this summer, but i forgot this detail already
however looking at the parts manual, it shows you need 4 spacers for a truck, so that would be 2 per side, one at both ends of the leaf spring.
that's my reasoning
the spacer is part number 596857, the 3/4 ton and 1 ton use the same part in these locations
