1954 235c.i. 6 volt. Engine dies when driving. Usually when making a turn and shifting it dies. No sputter just stops.
Full tank fresh gas.Pump working well shoots out lots gas. Filter clean.Low voltage wire was loose coil to base of dist. Didn't fix prob. Gages are still on when dies. Idles forever perfect.Pulls strong going up hill. Seems to back fire more when decelerate down hill thru exhaust. Seems to run rich, tailpipe very black. After dies will re- start pretty quickly.Seems to die when hot or or just warmed up...
Any suggestions would appreciate! Don't have a dwell/meter. Thanks from Dennis
