Well after spending the day talking with the folks I got the frontend kit from(JPL in PA), Brogeson, Flamming River and Heidits, who were all very helpful and concerened about the problem, the only solution anyone could come up with was to ntoch the crossmember for the clearance I needed. Talkd with Borgeson about a coupler and the dia. was still to big and it would be totally unsafe to make a smaller one, can't blame them for that at all. So I took Monday off and spent the day doing the work needed and it worked and came very nice.(at least not bad for a rookie)
Heres a couple of pics of the finished product. So folks with a '41 to '46 may want to look at this before putting a MII frontend in.
