OK, I couldn't resist taking this picture, of Jimmy, and sharing it here on Stovebolt. I have been hauling cow manure to my corn patch again. While so doing, the late afternoon sun was just starting to set behind the old school, in my home town. Take a peek, at the picture, and and enjoy an old farm truck doing a job that counts, with a classy old background. Oh yes, Jimmy didn't miss a beat again this year, no problems hauling the 12 loads of "Sun Shine" to the corn patch. I also hauled 8 loads of fill dirt to fix up the road that enters my farm. I haven't gotten to the rebuild of the 302 yet that I have stored in the shop. The original 248 is working real good in the dump truck for now. My son has a 1950 GMC 3/4 ton with a bad 228 engine. I think I will give him the 248 out of the dump truck, to put his truck back on the road, when I convert over to the 302. I would like to locate an aftermarket 2 X 1 intake for use on the 302. Does anyone else have some good season pictures of their trucks to post?
Al
