For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2018 Posts: 106 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2018 Posts: 106 | I replaced/am replacing the Vent Window Seals on my '54 6100. The main vent window seal (the L portion) fits just fine. The division post seal is where I am having an issue. I got my new seals from Steele Rubber. The exact issue is there is a gap when the vent window is closed. There is a 1/8" space from top to bottom between the glass and where the edge of the seal is. You can seal right between the two. Anyone else have this issue and what did you do.
By the way, I replaced the windshield seal also from Steele Rubber and it seems to fit too tight. The window is in but not quite all the way. | | |
