I spoke to a Azko Nobel rep a few weeks ago and was asking about urethane, enamel & lacquer for my 57. I was told lacquer is history because of clean air & other regulations.Maybe its state regulations,but I think its probably federal.

Yeh, there are just a few steps missing in the DIY painting, like SANDING, removing mouldings,door handles,tail lamps etc, and several other important things. Looks like one of those "we will paint any car for $99" deals.
