J 9 7 = October 9 1957 - block casting date
738307 = 1958 and later block (most likely available in late 1957)
F 10 11 A = engine serial number when installed in the truck
F = Flint Michigan engine
10 = October
11 = 11th
A = "regular" truck engine - mechanical lifters
