Hy Lionelgee, the photo from Jim Carters website is probably that of either a Holden modified Chevrolet cab or a Holden manufactured cab. This Chevrolet design of cab began in 1939 and continued to early 1947 with only one major design change that was the dash. All the cabs of this design had windshields that could be cranked out from the bottom with a crank like the one in one of your photos. The hinges on the Chevrolet manufactured cabs were hidden unlike the ones in the Jim Carter photo. If you could post your vehicles serial number someone here may be able to decipher it for you.
