The originals were hand painted, and 1/4 inch wide (some may argue that point), looks like yours was quickly done and poorly at that. But it is interesting to see the painters originally used small brushes and made 2 or more passes. As you guessed, there is lots of variation between pinstripes.
Your wheels would not have come with pinstripes, only the deluxe cabs came with wheels being body color and with pinstripes. Your wheels would have been black originally.
