What's the goal, 8 lug wheels, different brakes, or??

Might save you some head scratching to read about these spindle swaps for the old trucks using newer GM parts.

My goal was modern disc brakes.
The swap/update works real easy by simply reaming the existing kingpin bushings in the donor spindles and fitting the original truck/axle king pin bushings (buy a new kingpin kit) inside them, then ream to fit the king pin as usual practice.
This works with the original 10 lug on 7.25" bolt circle but now with 5.25" center bore.
GM had similar axles/hubs with 8 lug dual wheels that fit these donor spindles, so that is also an option.
