Thanks for the reply. On the 40, the door has an area for the channel to slip into in the front and back.
On the top it stops 1/3 of the way up the back.
I guess form the channel as close to the glass shape as possible and glue in.
If you look at the passenger side ebay add, it shows ending going nowhere.
