Hey all,
I recently came across several older PTO units not attached to any particular transmissions. A cursory google part number search has come up with little to no useful information pertaining to the application. Spicer, Perfection, and Chelsea are some of the brand names involved. It seems that over the years all of these companies have been absorbed/taken over/bought out through time and with each merger all past history is purged. Parker seems to be the current brand name but they are completely worthless with any ID help...if a part is more than 10-15 years old, they just say it is "obsolete". I am positive I am not the first person to search for the "PTO Identification Holy Grail", any tips or leads?
