Yes there is a inner reinforcement plate for the bullet lights.
I think the reinforcement plate in the Jim Carter
LINK showing the upper roof light is the same reinforcement plate that is used on the side bullets.
There are some optional ways to wire the bullet lights and the rear barn door light.
