Did you replace the brake rubber hoses and does your truck have a hydrovac?
I have often taken those MC's out and disassembled and checked their cylinder bore for wear. The port in reservoir often also needs cleaning, and others here can tell you if a basic MC rebuilt kit is still available. I have not yet had to re-sleeve one of those bigger MC's , but that is an option if you can't find a new one.
