Hello from central Louisiana, I’ve been searching for a couple of weeks for some sort of restoration/rat rod/classic truck forum to gain a little insight towards my project truck. I was hoping to find bits of info here and there relative to what I was doing but here lies the holy grail of early truck knowledge. Thank you for having me. Recently I acquired a ‘52 Chevy 6400. The previous owner and I have been going back and fourth for about 3 years since I spotted it peaking out of his barn. He drove it into said barn and parked it in the late 90’s when the local cotton gin closed and hasn’t touched it since. He is only 2 miles up the road from me so I put enough air inthe tires to drag it back to my shop. I can grab the fan and roll the engine over so at least I know it’s free, it was converted to 12v at some point and there is only one small rusted out spot under the cab on the drivers side. So now the fun begins. Again thanks for having me.
