A BIG THANKS to everyone of you!
I don't want to modify or bend anything because everything on the truck is original and I was driving the truck before I pulled the engine to overhaul it. Looking back, I should have taken a photo of the linkage set up before removing it. I know they are very simple and there is only 1 way they will go back for everything to properly fit but I am just not finding it.
It will eventually come to me and I will just have to continue working with it. What would be really nice is if someone with a 54 Chevy pick up w/ original 235 would take a photo and post it.
