Could be your pressure plate has broken. It isn't uncommon. With the truck not running, get underneath and remove the clutch cover. Have your wife or somebody press in on the clutch while you look up in there with good light. You should see the pressure plate move rearward evenly and separate cleanly from your clutch disk. If you use a screwdriver, you should be able to move the clutch disk at that point. You probably will have to use a remote starter (ignition off) to turn the engine over (put it in neutral) to see the whole circle. If your pressure plate has broken, some part of the circle will not release and I believe this is what is causing your problem.
