I've bent the throttle linkage on my 53 P/U with a 235. took it off straightened it but the install is a big hassle, Has anybody hooked a cable throttle with new pedal assemble to a rochester B carb? I've had another card on it and had to shorten the rod to the carb,,thread it and use different pieces to hook it up. Never really got full throttle and rubbed a little on the exhaust header. Getting it out from behind the exhaust pipes would be a time saver, Anyone changed over to cable and eliminating the
original linkage?
