I received a rebuilt one barrel Rochester carburetor form Chevy of the forties and had it installed. I also placed an insulator between the carb and the intake manifold. The heat here is in the 110s. On acceleration the carb flatttens out and then acellerates. I follow the advice of the person who rebuilt the carburetor with no results. I can’t have the shop open the carburetor, under penalty of death, as they won’t guarantee the the work. Is there anyone who is reliable that I can go to for a carburetor?
As they don’t make these NEW maybe change to a two barrel for my 235.
