My 327 busted it's block so looking for replacements. It's in a 59 3100 short bed deluxe fleet side. The 327 is from 1969 that was installed i'm told in the 70s. It ran great till now. It uses the old style front rod mounts, the ones a 265 would use. I'd like to stick with this setup. Other than the 69 327 what other SBC's will mount in this manner and fit the bell housing and 3 speed which i believe is the truck's original? I can get a rebuilt 327 from '69 but curious about options. Just starting the hunt.
