Thanks it is a Midwest truck. Will be gargaged for rest of "my life" here at home on Long Island, NY.
I am pretty sure the truck stayed off road when it was being used up until the early 70's. No one ever added passenger side tail light or directionals so IMO it was a farm truck and saw little highway use or at the very least it was never used in any urban areas over its life. Dont really matter if it was or was not bc she is mine now and has a nice home inside now out of the weather.
She did suffer a good amount of rust thru around the top of the windshield and also significant rot on top of the rear corner windows. The windshield area I replaced with sheet metal stock and welded in to repair. The rear corner glass top area was beyond repair. Just impossible to recreate without spending thousands of dollars in custom fabrication. I opted to just replace with the inner and outer panels that are available. I welded them in and seam sealed them up. Looks good and in all honesty kind of blends with the rough appearance.
When I get full control of my account I will start posting pics and a write up of what I did.
