Good evening guys!!
I have a question about the serial number on my 1952 Chevy 6400 Loadmaster (Please). So, on the serial number plate inside the drivers door, it shows a GVWR of 16,000 pounds. What I am getting questioned about is the Serial number.
Per the plate, the serial number is KEA135170. I sold this truck to a guy and he is saying that it is totally wrong and it may be but it sure looks like it was originally stamped by GM because the numbers are in a perfect line and not sloppy. The K even looks like it has some kind of circle around it.
Are the bigger truck serial numbers a little different than a 1/2 ton pickup? The serial # on my 54 pick up is H54S048707.
