I guess I just made an assumption since the aftermarket hoods available are all listed as 47-53 and also made some assumptions from Denny's Album.
http://www.pbase.com/dennygraham/1954_body You know when I thought about this it did seem a little odd that Chevrolet would re-tool or make new stamping dies for the hood of a truck series they had planned as the last year, 1954, even though they did make changes in the fenders. Thanks for the info, it'll be good to know for a lot of folks.
