For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1,154 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1,154 | HI..the Po of my truck removed the wooden bed floor from my 54/3100 and replaced it with a metal bed floor from a later Chevy. He "popcorn" welded here and there to the angle iron perimeter. I need to re-weld. My question is about the angle iron which surrounds the inner bed floor. Are they spot welded to the bed sides and if so what is the locations or spacing of said spot welds? Our truck bed has about 40 coats of paint and grease so finding the spot welds has been a real pain....any help would be greatly appreciated and we thank you, Steve  | | |
