Ok so my battery ground goes to one of the head bolt holes on the front part of engine.... is this an ok grounding point or is that shysty? And that is the only ground I think I have so I guess they assumed the engine is mounted to frame so it's all connected.?.?.? Not sure... but if I need to run another ground I will.

But about the turn indicator, is it possible the light socket is bad because I put ground from battery straight to socket mounting bolt and it went away but then a few turn signals later it came back.. and then I jiggled bulb and it came on and indicator glow went out. So I then took bulb out and put wire brush in drill and cleaned the socket thinking there was a connection issue but that didn't do it either so I'm thinking there's a short behind the spring loaded contacts in the socket. Is this possible? And if so how should I go about fixing cuz this is becoming a tedious or deal with to much back and forthing lol
