Jerry, you amaze me! Is there anything you don’t know about cars?!? I am a self taught, amateur shade tree mechanic who learned basic automotive skills out of both interest and necessity. Mom and dad were good enough to buy me a car in high school, but it was up to me to keep it running. With mom and dad raising three kids, it took both of them working to make ends meet. There just wasn’t a lot of extra money, so anything I could do on the car myself was money saved. The one part of a car I never learned to work on was the electrical system, mostly out of fear. It was always this mysterious system that had too many bugaboos in it for me to figure it out, so I left it alone. Even today, about the most I can do is change a headlight or a battery. You helped me last fall tackle the job of upgrading the small gauge battery cables in my 6 volt truck to bigger ones. Thanks for helping me with these relays. I’m tired of not being able to see more than 15 feet in front of me when I drive at night!
