I was watching one of those rebuild your car shows tonight and they had a 64 327 on that had the bracket with a spacer coming in the back of the mount. so it looked like the bolt pushed the spacer forward to lock the alternator. would require drilling the rear arm exactly the size of the shim. I was hoping to make it out to one of the local cruises this weekend and look at some stock cars. Probably the simple fix is cutting a pipe or spacer to fit and moving to next prob, Finding 59 throttle arm for a v8. Happy 4 everyone
