The 235 bolt circle is a Murphy- - - -it can fit in any position. However, the dowels are offset in such a way that there's only one position the flywheel can fit the crankshaft. If the dowels have been removed from the crankshaft flange, get the #1 and #6 pistons exactly on top of the stroke and align the TDC mark on the flywheel with the pointer in the bellhousing window. The balance drilling is done when the flywheel is manufactured, so the holes aren't crankshaft-specific.
