Hey everyone, I'm trying to take cab off of the frame since I want to sandblast the frame. I have all other body panels off of the truck, including to bed as well as the engine and transmission removed. I disconnected the steering column and the brake lines, now all I need to know is how to a get the cab off and how should I store it. At first I was hoping to just have my uncle and myself get on either side of the cab, lift it and then walk it off, but it's pretty obvious that it's too heavy. I feel like four people could probably do it but I don't have four people that could help. I'm curious if this would be the only way to take the cab off or if other's have done it some other way that I can't think of.
I also need to know how to store. I will be keeping it inside of the shop, but should I just set it on the ground? Or should i put it on blocks where the mounts where?
