There are ( 4 ) possible different size SHIMS that are used to set the PINION DEPTH .

You will probably wind up using ( 2 ) different size shims .

They come in ( 4 ) thicknesses - .012 " / .015 " / .018 " / .021 "

example PICS of the pinion bearing shims , they come ( 2 ) shims per GM package .
