Not only have I not had issue with the original setup, but I found that with a new rubber headlight bezel seal the bezel fits so snug I don't need the retainer screw at the bottom. In fact I had to apply dish soap to the bezel seal to get it to slide on to the headlight retainer. Sounds to me like something needs adjusted.
