Just FYI....the 1100304 generator was used on 1957-60 Nash Ramblers and 55-57 Pontiac. The original number generator for a 54 would have been 1100018. Mounting on the two was the same as far as distance on the bottom but they did have different end plates and fan pulley. Top mounting ear on the 1100304 generator was offset to the right a little if looking from the rear of the generator. The 018 front plate would have been more straight up and down. 018 generator would have also had a pulley that had an offset pulley......or a pulley with a hub on it as we call it. The pulley was not up against the fan. The 304 did have a pulley against the fan. Both stamped steel and one piece but you get the idea. 1100304 is 12 volt 25 amp. 1100018 was of course 6 volt but rated at 45 amp. So if you run into any alignment issues or mounting on the generator the difference listed above may be something to consider.
