I looked at my 1940 1 1/2 ton this weekend that has 5 bolt wheels. The wheel studs appear to be larger diameter. I do not have any extra wheels for this, but will pass along your info to the new owner in case he plans to swap them out.
I suppose you could drill out the holes in a 10 lug wheel? I would drill all 10, just the 5. This would leave a little more meat around the holes....
